ロケーションは、どこにでもあるふつうの場所。

2015年から続く「PLAY」シリーズでは、東京の街を歩きながら、

日常にひそむ小さな遊び心をすくい取っている。

被写体の思い入れのある街を一緒に歩いたり、気になる場所へと誘い出したり。

懐かしい遊びや落書きから想像したささやかな仕掛けを通して、

街の別の表情を探っていく。

少し視点を変えるだけで、

いつもの場所にもおもしろさは見えてくる。

The locations are ordinary places that can be found anywhere.

The “PLAY” series, which began in 2015,

explores small moments of playfulness hidden in everyday life

while walking through the streets of Tokyo.

By walking together through places that hold personal meaning for the subjects,

or by inviting them into locations that catch my attention,

I search for different expressions of the city

through modest interventions inspired by nostalgic games,

graffiti, and traditional sweets.

By shifting the perspective just slightly,

unexpected moments of interest begin to emerge

even in the most familiar places.
